‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ spoilers for Sept. 2: Katie plays matchmaker with Ridge; Quinn uses Ivy to sidetrack Liam

For its last salvo this week, “The Bold and the Beautiful” (“B&B”) centres on distractions and relationship schemes. On Friday, Katie (Heather Tom) goes one step further to keep her ex-husband and her sister apart. Spoilers suggest that she’ll start pushing Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) to Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) direction, in the hopes of rekindling romance between the two.

Meanwhile, Quinn (Rena Sofer) cooks up a similar type of manipulation, this time using her loyal ally, Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer). Other “The Bold and the Beautiful” cast members who will appear on the Sept. 2 installment include Bill (Don Diamont), Liam (Scott Clifton), Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Eric (John McCook) and Wyatt (Darin Brooks).

We Love Soaps reports that on Friday’s episode of “B&B,” Quinn devises a strategy to take Liam’s mind off Steffy. Meanwhile, Katie becomes Ridge’s cupid and arranges a date for him and a special woman.

The show’s official YouTube channel posted a preview video for the Sept. 2 episode. It features multiple scenes with Bill, Brooke, Quinn, Ivy, Katie and Ridge.

On the first scene, Bill lovingly tells Brooke, “You have nothing to hide, nothing to protect. No fears.” He also says that he wants the whole world to know that Brooke belongs to him. Quinn, on the other hand, informs Ivy, “You are getting a much needed upgrade.”

Elsewhere, Katie reveals to Ridge that he’ll always be the great love of Brooke’s life. “Everyone knows that,” Katie claims. “The question is, will you accept that?”

In the previous episode, Ridge tells Brooke that while he doesn’t want to pressure her about Bill, he realises that Steffy doesn’t want to be at Forrester Creations because of Quinn. Brooke insists that there must be another way to convince Bill without marrying him. Meanwhile, Katie delayed signing the settlement agreement with Bill. She teared up and Bill assured that that she brought so much good into his life, but they just don’t bring out the best in each other anymore. Hearing that, the two signed the document but agreed that it didn’t really mean goodbye. Later, Bill informed Brooke that his divorce with Katie is now official. He told her how much he needs her, and the two shared a passionate kiss.

Back at Forrester Creations, Katie arrived in on Ridge. She updated him about her status with Bill and Ridge congratulated her. Katie assumed that Brooke went to Bill and wondered whether Ridge is ready to let nature take its course with them.
