‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ spoilers for Sept. 20: Ridge is caught blindsided; Eric has no qualms about writing his family off for a ‘lifelong romp in the hay’
Shocking revelations and frustrating news hound the upcoming episode of “The Bold and Beautiful” (“B&B”). On Tuesday, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) receives an unexpected e-mail from his dad that will rock his world to its core. Spoilers suggest that it’s not just an e-mail – Eric (John McCook) is determined to prove that he’s not backing out on his decision.
Despite everybody’s disapproval, Eric continues to stand his ground about tying the knot with Quinn (Rena Sofer). He wants to push through the nuptials and vows that there’s no one who could stand in his way – not even his family. Other “The Bold and the Beautiful” cast members who will appear on the Sept. 20 installment include Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Bill (Don Diamont), Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Thomas (Pierson Fode), Wyatt (Darin Brooks), Liam (Scott Clifton) and RJ (Anthony Turpel).

TV Guide reports that on Tuesday’s episode of “B&B,” Ridge reels after receiving Eric’s e-mail about his upcoming wedding. Meanwhile, Brooke gives RJ some good news, but follows it up with a piece of bad news. The show’s official YouTube channel posted a preview video for the Sept. 20 episode. It features multiple scenes with Quinn, Eric, Steffy, Thomas, Brooke and Bill.
On the first scene, Quinn wonders to her husband-to-be, “So you’re saying when it comes down to it, you’re going to write off your entire family to have a life-long romp in the hay with me.” She tries to convince Eric to make his family understand that she’s not the enemy. Meanwhile, he assures her that she’s going to be Mrs Eric Forrester. “There’s nothing Ridge, or anybody else, can do to prevent that,” Eric says.
Elsewhere, Brooke tells Bill that she needs to be there for her son. “I can’t just run off,” she reveals. Steffy, on the other hand, shares her worries with Thomas. “We need those shares and to get them, Brooke needs to marry Bill,” she claims. “That needs to happen as soon as possible.”

On Monday, Bill told Brooke that the jet is waiting for them, but she said that she can’t just walk away from her son. Bill assured her that they can work through it after they come back, but RJ issued a threat – if Brooke marries Spencer, she will ruin their family. The teenager cried, “Don’t do it, Mom!” Brooke asked to speak to Bill alone, and she told him that she needs a little more time. Bill was worried that she still has feelings for Ridge, but Brooke denied it. They professed their love for each other and they hugged.
Meanwhile, Steffy grilled Ridge about RJ’s intervention. She and Thomas urged Ridge to have a talk with his son so they could get on with their plans. RJ arrived and informed them that his mum won’t be marrying Bill. He grew suspicions of Steffy when she reassured herself and the others that Brooke made a promise and won’t go back on it.
