‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ spoilers for Sept. 23: Wedding disaster strikes; Eric faces a devastating heartbreak

A supposedly dreamy wedding turns into a horrible nightmare on the upcoming episode of “The Bold and Beautiful” (“B&B”). On Friday, Eric (John McCook) realises that he may have pushed his family too far – they are so serious about their disapproval on his bride-to-be that they don’t bother to come to his big day. While the Forresters don’t want to hurt the patriarch, they follow Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) decision to stand their ground and boycott his wedding.

Spoilers suggest that Eric will be completely shattered when no one shows up to share his bliss, that the incident might take a toll on his health. Other “The Bold and the Beautiful” cast members who will appear on the Sept. 23 installment include Quinn (Rena Sofer), Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Rick (Jacob Young), Thomas (Pierson Fode), Zende (Rome Flynn), Pam (Alley Mills), Charlie (Dick Christie), Felicia (Lesli Kay), Thorne (Winsor Harmon) and Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer).

TV Guide reports that on Friday’s episode of “B&B,” Eric and Quinn get a jolt of reality amid their pre-wedding bliss. Meanwhile, some of the Forresters disagree with Ridge’s tactics to stop Eric’s plans. The show’s official YouTube channel posted a preview video for the Sept. 23 episode. It features multiple scenes with Eric, Pam, Ridge, Ivy and Quinn.

On the first scene, Eric declares that everybody’s going to rally behind him and his bride. “I want this to become the most special day of Quinn’s life,” he says. Pam, on the other hand, wonders whether he’s really in love with Quinn.

Meanwhile, Ridge tells Pam over the phone, “I know this is hard, but this is what I need you to do. Grab Charlie and walk out of there.” Ivy wraps the trailer as she gushes, “You really care for him, Quinn. He’s very lucky to have you.”

On Thursday, Steffy and Quinn had another heated argument over the latter’s upcoming wedding to Eric. Quinn begged Steffy to attend the event for her grandfather. Steffy told Quinn that she may be sleeping in her grandfather’s bed, but she’ll never be one of them. She also said she hopes her granddad comes to his senses before the wedding, and that the whole family will rally around him the day he throws her out, which will be soon.

Elsewhere, Felicia arrived, demanding to know where Eric is and why they’re letting him marry a crazy person. Eric then walked in and hugged Felicia. “You came,” he said. Eric then asked Thorne to be his best man, and while he hesitated at first, Thorne agreed. When Eric left, Steffy showed up and shared to everyone her conversation with Quinn. She reckoned it’s time to start crossing lines they previously wouldn’t. The Forresters decided that their last and best chance is to boycott the wedding as a group.
