Fans were enraged when their experienced difficulties purchasing the pre-sale tickets offered by Telstra. Apparently, the hosting website Bango Tango wasn't able to hold the unexpected traffic that ticket purchase caused the site.

There were fans unable to log-in and there are those who were able to log-in but their "special code" have already been used.

Fans were so disappointed that even with the Dainty Group already issuing statement through its Facebook account, fans remained unappeased. Dainty Group is handling the promotions for the tour.

Dainty Group's statement goes, "Excellent news: the Bango Tango site is back up and running. Log-in now and book your Telstra Thanks presents Bon Jovi pre-sale ticket. Thank you for your patience."

As Tone Deaf.com had put it, it was (supposedly) a dream come true for anyone who was a Telstra customer as well as Bon Jovi Fan when Telstra announced they would be releasing presale tickets for the band's upcoming Autralian tour....

But fans were all left to agony as they wait all morning, all day, as Telstra's ticketing partner, Bango Tango, failed to handle the traffic.

Bango Tango had notable experience handling ticket selling for HMV and Sanity through their founder and director Daniel Popic. Popic, on the other hand, had been Alliances Marketing Manager for Ticketek.

However Bango Tango was obviously unqualified to handle the influx of demand for the Bon Jovi.

The high volume of traffic was a result of Telstra announcing that the budget-tickets were only priced at $35 and was on limited amount only. Every fan would like to get hold of the very affordable ticket that they might have accessed the purchasing site at the same period of time.

Just within few seconds after the announcement that the tickets were already on sale, The Bango Tango website was suddenly offline much to the dismay of the fans.

The $35 Bon Jovi pre-sale ticket is the latest offering for Telstra Thanks Program. The program boasts of exclusive pre-sale access, as well as priceless experiences to concert after parties and back stage pass. The Bon Jovi tour was the very first Arena tour that agreed on partnership with Telstra.

Promoter Paul dainty explained the very affordable ticket price, "everyone is suffering a bit from the economic doom and gloom perceptions and Bon Jovi want to help out, give people a great start to their Christmas celebrations." He hopes that Bon Jovi's because We Can Tour will set as an example for big international touring bands.

Dainty Group tried to do damage control addressing the Bon Jovi fans through their Facebook fan page, "As you know the Bon Jovi pre-sale tickets are available today. Unfortunately the Bango tango website, where you purchase your tickets is currently experiencing heavy traffic and some customers are unable to log-in. Tickets are still available, and the pre-sale goes for 48 hours. We will keep you updated and let you know as soon as it is back up and running."

Bango Tango followed suit, saying that "Due to a huge amount of traffic, our website is experiencing technical difficulties. We are currently working on the problem. Tickets are still available, and the pre-sale goes for 48 hours, so we will keep you updated."
