Now that's what you call rocking news! Guess who is going to be present at Kate Middleton and Prince William's housewarming party at Kensington Palace? It's none other than American rock group Bon Jovi!

The Duke and the Duchess have recently shifted to the Palace and the house warming party was due, but it is not going to be like any other party. The couple decided to do a charity bash which will have "It's My Life" singer performing a gig at their 20 room mansion.

The charity event will be in aid of Centrepoint - an organization which aids the homeless. The gala event will be hosted by the palace's State Apartments. Guests will be welcomed in all royal manners with a champagne reception in the King's Gallery ballroom. Dinner will precede the gig where Bon Jovi will perform in the royal gardens, according to Hello! magazine.

The event, which is expected to take place on November 26, will welcome Duke and the Duchess as they leave their Anglesey cottage and shift to the palace with their 11-week old son George.

"This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime event that cannot be missed. Kensington Palace will be decorated as never before, in the style of Doctor Zhivago's winter ice palace, covered in falling snow," a source told the magazine.

To be a part of this event, guests will have to buy tickets at a whopping £5,000! According to Entertainment Wise, Prince William is known to be a big fan of 51-year-old American rock artist Jon Bon Jovi, of the rock group Bon Jovi.

The Kensington Palace is yet to come out with the official confirmation on the news but Prince William did a karaoke on the band's hit "Livin' On A Prayer" during the wedding of his cousin Zara Phillips to Mike Tindall two years ago.
