Bon Jovi show must go on even after injury
Jon Bon Jovi sustained an injury while performing but kept going during his concert over the weekend.
"Near the end of Bon Jovi's two-and-a-half hour show at New Meadowlands Stadium on Friday night, Jon Bon Jovi sustained a torn calf muscle," said a rep for the star.
"Jon made light of the injury and went on to close the show with their anthemic hit, Living On a Prayer.
"The band ended the night together, thanking the capacity home-town crowd, and assisting Jon off the stage.
"The injury will not prevent Bon Jovi from playing any of their upcoming stadium dates this summer."
Bon Jovi, who is also the owner of the Philadelphia Soul, has sold over 120 million albums worldwide.
As a solo artist, the 48-year old rocker has been recognized by Golden Globe. He also had an Academy Award nomination for Blaze of Glory.
