‘Bones’ Season 8 Episode 5 Speculation: Pelant’s Marigold Still Out There

"Bones" Season 8 will be on a break for three weeks. Episode 5 will air on U.S. television on November 5. It should be exciting because the long wait is just too much for the fans. Will the next episode show the return of the tech genius Christopher Pelant and his marigold?

In a report by Inside TV, Pelant will be seen in at least four episodes in Season 8. Avid viewers have seen him at the season premiere. So there are at least three more episodes for him.

There is still much to speculate on Pelant's character. The avid viewers saw him leave Brennan a marigold, which she read as "pain and grief." How dark will this season be for Bones and Booth?

"Bones" creator Hart Hanson spoke to Inside TV about FBI domestic terrorism special agent Flynn's relationship with Pelant. Are they working together?

"It seems as though that might possibly be possible," Hanson said.

Here are some speculations on what is up ahead for "Bones" Season 8:

- Flynn might have not been with Pelant all along. He may have been impressed with his tech skills, so he did everything necessary to keep him as intel instead of in jail. The reason why he picked up Pelant's marigold from the trash? Maybe he'll watch Pelant closely so he would pose no more harm to Bones and Booth anymore.

- Pelant's digital clock will be another puzzle for Bones. He would probably reveal what's in the digital clock when he returns.

- Max Brennan is likely to grant Pelant's wish death (assuming Sweets was right in thinking the evil genius wants to die). "He needs killing," Max has told Booth in the season premiere. Knowing Max, he will not hold back the next time things get messy with Pelant's diabolical tech games.
