American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr's war with the rappers ain't over yet.

The latest to resurface on Sunday was 50 Cent who brought up the case of a botched business deal between the two and Money May's alleged failure to reimburse the rapper a seven-digit figure despite flaunting his wealth.

Hotnewhiphop reported that Mayweather approached 50 Cent in 2012 to begin a partnership with the rapper helping him set up Mayweather Promotions before the boxer was jailed at the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas. Using his personal funds, 50 Cent formed The Money Team Promotions to get fighters like Andre Dirrell and Yuriorkis Gamboa.

Upon Mayweather's release from detention, 50 Cent said Mayweather denied that he asked for his help with the promotions company, which recently secured a licence from the Nevada state.

However, the boxer is in a state of denial that there is a problem between the two of them, saying, quoted by Hotnewhiphop, "You can't be my friend on Monday and then not my friend on Tuesday. Real friends go through ups and downs. I can't say in November, a guy's my friend and I love him, and in December I hate him."

Mayweather attributed 50 Cent's rants to just mere miscommunication and media's role in playing it up.

To show he meant well, Mayweather added, "Hopefully, his music can go back to the top. And hopefully, he does good in the sport of boxing."

But 50 Cent is far from pacified and posted on Instagram this mocking note on his former friend and business partner: "Nelly put this up@floydmayweather DAMN da nigga really took you lady Champ. It's @missjackson's birthday. Smh."

The rapper was referring to fellow St Louis rapper Nelly who is now reportedly the BF of Mayweather's ex-girlfriend Shantel Jackson. Money May, in turn, is in a relationship with Bad Medina, who celebrated her birthday on Sunday and whom he recently spoilt by buying her luxury items such as jewellery that he also used to shower on Shantel.

50 Cent likewise hinted of an affair between Mayweather and Tiny, the wife of another rapper T.I.

Besides 50 Cent, Mayweather also had an altercation with rapper T.I. over allegations that the boxer slept with T.I.'s wife Tiny, which both Tiny and Mayweather deny.
