Unlike Floyd Mayweather Jr who is embroiled in a lady problem after rapper T.I. engaged Money May in a burger joint brawl out of suspicion the boxer is sleeping with his wife, Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao is giving way to a female celebrity.

On Thursday, Top Rank chief Bob Arum announced that Pacquiao's scheduled bout on Nov 8 would be moved to Nov 23 because diva Celine Dion would have a concert on the same date, Nov 8, at The Venetian in Macau.

Pacquiao's opponent for that match has not yet been identified, but high on the list are Mexican boxer Juan Manuel Marquez and Russian boxer Ruslan Provodnikov.

Arum is slated to meet this week with Mike Koncz, Pacquiao's adviser, to discuss who will be his next opponent. But whoever that boxer would be, Arum assured Pacquiao that he has a guaranteed purse of $20 million.

However, it could still go up to $30 million, depending on the pay-per-view (PPV) buys it would generate. Arum opted to have Pacquiao's next fight in Macau to develop the PPV market in China and be less dependent on U.S. PPV buys which have lately been yielding below-expectation revenues for both the Pacquiao-Timothy Bradley rematch on April 12 and the Mayweather-Marcos Maidana fight on May 3.

For Pacquiao, part of that money would likely go to the Philippine taxman which claims the eight-division title holder owes the government P1.2 billion in tax arrears.

On Wednesday, it was reported that Pacquiao is the richest congressman in the Philippines with a net worth of P1.3 billion, which has actually gone done from P1.8 billion in 2013.

Arum is in Macau to watch the Saturday bout of another Filipino boxer, Nonito Donaire Jr versus South African Simpiwe Vetyeka who is defending for the first time his WBA super featherweight title.
