Eight-division title holder Manny Pacquiao and his business adviser, Michael Koncz, will look at some videos of potentials opponents of the Filipino boxer for his scheduled Nov 23 fight in Macau and decide whom he would fight.

Koncz identified some of the names on the shortlist, including Mexican boxer Juan Manuel Marquez, Russian boxer Ruslan Provodnikov and several Golden Boy Promotions protégées such as Amir Khan, Marcos Maidana and Danny Garcia, reported ABS-CBN.

Another one is a relatively unknown boxer, Argentinean Luis Abregu, ranked No 2 by the WBC and No 4 by WBO in the welterweight division.

Koncz said that Abregu was recommended by Top Rank matchmakers, although he admitted the Argentinean boxer is not on top of the list. Beyond the seven names, Koncz declined to name the other boxers because "It will be detrimental to negotiations because they will think we are chasing them."

The business adviser said Pacquiao would likely make a decision after his family vacation in Israel and Britain by the last week of June.

A United Arab Emirates promoter has been claiming that he will make the Dream Match between Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr happen in Dubai in 2015.

Prince Amir Shafipour, a three-time world champion in kick and Thai boxing, according to Gulf News, insisted that the issues that prevented the two pound-for-pound boxers from agreeing to a bout could be dealt with.

"I know many people have failed to bring them to the ring, for many reasons, but I believe that we have the formula to make it happen. And then the whole boxing scene will explode," the prince promised, quoted by The Epoch Times.
