Floyd Mayweather Jr. might be just days away before revealing his next opponent after the reigning pound-for-pound champion indirectly announced the 'official candidates' for his May 3 event in MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Money May has been on a roll this Holidays, firing shots at his welterweight rivals by posting photo shopped pictures aimed to irritate his potential foes on his Twitter account.

Mayweather opened up his salvo on the micro-blogging site by posting a meme featuring Pacquiao getting knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez in 2012. He then followed it up with a picture of him standing beside a man whom he called Manny Roach, a middle-aged man having the facial feature of Pacquiao and his legendary trainer Freddie Roach.

The Grand Rapid native continued his internet attack by posting three photo-shopped pictured that showed him drilling a hard job on the jaws of Argentine brawler Marcos Maidana and Pacquiao while the other has him sending out Amir 'Con Artist' Khan to the canvass.

Mayweather's Christmas Day photos generated tremendous buzz on Twitter, and triggered more debates on which fighter whom he takes on his Cinco de Mayo fight.

According to the latest rumblings on several boxing forums, Mayweather is apparently showing to boxing fans the three possible opponents for his next fight. Khan has been tossed as the favorite to land the Money May sweepstakes, but Maidana and now Pacquiao have put their names too as potential foes following their sensational wins in their last fights.

Khan, the former lightweight and jr. welterweight champion, believed he has a great shot at Mayweather because of his huge fan base in the United Kingdom and his ability to match Money May's speed and agility in the ring.

"It's the fight I've always been after and we're very close now, not too far away. Hopefully, something is going to be announced within the next couple of weeks," Khan said via the Telegraph.

Pacquiao has also expressed his intention to finally settle his score with Mayweather once and for all. The Filipino champ is reportedly set to fly to the United States and meet Mayweather's camp without any backings from Top-Rank Promotions.

"That would be a great fight [with Mayweather], a great match up," Pacquiao said of his megabuck showdown with Mayweather.

Meanwhile, Maidana is coming off a 12-round demolition of pound-for-pound contender Adrien Broner. Many analysts believed Chino's latest win is enough to put him against another shoulder-roll defense expert in Mayweather.
