According to Floyd Mayweather, he already offered Manny Pacquiao a fight before securing the Filipino boxer a $40 million prize money. However, Mayweather claims that Pacquiao dissed his offer and said that the Filipino boxer demanded a 50-50 purse split instead. Now, latest reports say that Pacquiao dares Mayweather to fight for the sake of charity.

A local Philippine newspaper broke the news about Pacquiao daring Mayweather to fight for charity. Philippine Daily Inquirer reported that the fighting Filipino congressman was not really anxious to fight Mayweather.

"I'm not desperate to fight him just for the sake of money or material things," said Pacquiao. The eight-division world champion said that it was really the boxing fans all over the world that were very eager to make the fight happen and not him.

Now, Pacquiao dares Mayweather to fight him for the sake of charity. Will the boxing fans finally get to see Mayweather and Pacquiao go toe-to-toe in the boxing ring for the sake of charity?

"I challenge him to include in our fight contract that both of us will not receive anything out of this fight," said Pacquiao. He said that all the proceeds from the said charity fight including guaranteed prize, gate receipts, endorsements, and pay-per-view buys should be donated to different charity organisations all around the world.

Pacquiao also stated that he is more than willing to submit himself to any kind of drug testing.

It seems like all the talks about a Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight will never really reach a culmination until the two fighters finally give the boxing fans what they want. Maybe it does seem proper to make the fight happen to determine who the best fighter in the world is, once and for all.

Mayweather and Pacquiao have both made their names in the boxing industry. Undoubtedly, Mayweather, at 45 wins and 0 loss, is just looking great as ever. It is really hard to imagine if there is anyone who can really beat him. As for Pacquiao, he has done amazing things in the boxing world too. Pacquiao have had many historic moments that have defined his boxing career. They don't really have to prove anything, but boxing fans would love to see them face in the ring for great entertainment.
