In an interview with TMZ, Sir Michael Caine who is famous for playing the role as Alfred in Batman movies says that Brat Pitt is a perfect man-servant for Ben Affleck in the new Batman vs. Superman movie.

Sir Michael Caine spoke with TMZ outside Craigs in Weho and suggested that a younger man will fill his shoes in Batman's upcoming movie. The 80-year-old English actor and author officially nominated Brad Pitt for the role of Alfred J. Pennyworth.

Caine was cast for the role in Batman as Bruce Wayne's butler Alfred in 2005; he reprised his Alfred role in 2008 in "The Dark Knight" and 2012 "The Dark Knight Rises." The filming of the 2012 Batman sequel took place place at Wollaton Hall, Wollaton, Nottinghamshire, England.

Christopher Nolan's critically acclaimed Batman sequel made him a household name for his role as Alfred and now he is taking a step back from the limelight for someone younger. But ending his Alfred role does not mean that he is done with movies, Caine is expected to appear in Nolan's 2014 science-fiction film, "Interstellar" and he is cast in Matthew Vaughn's "The Secret Service."

Batman vs. Superman

Ben Affleck is the 8th actor to play the famous millionaire and Caped Crusader of Gotham City, Bruce Wayne, for 2015 film Batman vs. Superman. The movie is set to premiere worldwide on July 17, 2015 with Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel, Amy Adams and Diane Lane.

Following the step down of former Batman Christian Bale, Ben Affleck was chosen to play one of the most coveted roles in action genre as Bruce Wayne. Although that many of the Batman fans petitioned Affleck to drop the role, Bale gave his blessings and approval for the next Batman.

"I wish him all the best. He's a very experienced actor and filmmaker. He'll make it his own. It should be passed on to another actor and will be again after him," Bale tells Accesshollywood.com. "(I told him) just make sure you can take a p**s without anyone helping him because it's a little bit humiliating. I went through having to have someone help you out of the costume in order to be able to do that. That was my main piece of advice for him, " he jokingly adds.
