Brad Pitt is having a time of his life producing as much as he had when he was acting.

In an interview with Daily Mirror, he compared acting and producing and shared why for now, he'd rather produce for a while. His reason? Having more time to spend with his family.

After a series of successful movies all under his belt as an actor, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie's husband and the father of six, now thinks he can be an effective producer as he was an actor. Moreover, he thinks producing is a worthwhile endeavor that can bring him more value and meaning.

"Being a producer means you can look for stories that are meaningful to you and be part of their evolution from day one until the day the film is finished," he shared to Daily Mirror.

Since he just got married this year to his long time partner, Angelina Jolie, the actor is feeling himself becoming more of a family man. Being a producer allows him to be. Not that he totally dissociated himself from the acting world. He just thinks at this time, being a producer allows him to be the husband and father that he wants to be.

"I still enjoy acting but I like spending more time at home with our family and that's something you can't always do if you're spending three or four months away on a film set. As a producer, I get to work out of my home, I get to make the kids their breakfast, drive them to school, and be there for dinner," the actor detailed.

Brad Pitt shared that with his experience on the film set and in front of the cameras, he learned a few tips along the way that can make his stint as a producer an effective and successful one. He can now tell what elements could lead to a good movie and what elements can lead to a bad one. The actor shared that he's truly having fun producing because each film he produced can be treated as a "learning experience."

Everyone can see what Brad Pitt is saying. He's certainly walking the talk. Just this year, he was hailed as a top producer. Brad Pitt wins Emmy and Oscar as top film producer, showing how much he really excels and enjoys his newfound career.
