Brad Pitt Forced To Talk About Ex-Wife Jennifer Aniston: Asked to Compare Wife Angelina Jolie With Rachel From 'Friends'
Brad Pitt was recently forced to talk about his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston in an interview with Zach Galifianaki. The "Fury" actor sat down with Zach for a skit called "Funny & Die" on his show "Between Two Ferns" and was almost asked to compare his wife Angelina with Rachel from "Friends."
Zach put the actor in a tight spot when he was asked, "Tell me what it was like the first time you laid eyes on Angelina. Was it like, one of those classical love stories, like when Ross first saw Rachel?"
Pitt's ex-wife Jennifer Aniston played Rachel in "Friends" and this question seemingly made the actor uncomfortable. However, he chose to remain silent. Later Zach grilled Brad about his personal relationship with Jolie.
"Is it hard for you to get a suntan," he asked. And when Pitt asked why, Galifianakis said, "Because you live in your wife's shadow." Pitt reportedly started dating Jolie in 2005 on the sets of "Mr & Mrs Smith." That time Pitt was still married to Aniston, according to the reports by Hollywoodlife. In spite of the awkwardness Pitt took all Zach's jokes in his stride. Zach even told Pitt that he is a "S***** actor" and people just focus on his looks. To this Pitt said "next question."
"Between Two Ferns" is parody talk show which is suppose to be funny and the interviewee are asked awkward questions so that they are unable to answer. Zach has previously grilled Barack Obama, Justin Bieber and Jennifer Lawrence in the past.
Though Pitt maintained his calm throughout the show, at the end he spat a piece of chewing gum on Zach's face. Meanwhile, in other news, Pitt's action movie "Fury" has topped the box office. The movie is speculated to do great business as it has already been acclaimed at major film festivals.
The movie stars Shia LaBeouf, John Bernthal, Michael Pena and Logan Lerman and according to further reports, they all did an intensive training for the film. "Fury" is Brad's third war movie after "Inglorious Bastards" and "Troy."
