Brad Pitt Not Spotted At George Clooney's Wedding But Says 'Ocean's 11' Co-Star Is A 'Joy To Be Around'
Brad Pitt recently gushed about his "Ocean's 11" co-star George Clooney in an interview to GQ magazine. Pitt said that Clooney was a "joy to be around," during the film's shoot.
Though Pitt was not spotted at Clooney and Amal Alamuddin's wedding held in Venice on Sept 27, he had great things to say about his co-star. Pitt said that Clooney is reportedly considered unreachable, however, he is quite friendly.
"Well, you know, George is extremely accessible. He's one of our best representatives. He's funny as s***. I guess maybe I'm more of a miserable b****," said Pitt to the magazine.
Pitt said that he is a loner and quiet by nature. He also said that he is quite reserved as he comes from a "hillybilly" country. Pitt recently tied the knot with Angelina Jolie. The two have been together since 2005 and have six kids together. Pitt and Jolie exchanged wedding vows in a secret ceremony amongst close family members. In regard to the marriage as an institution, Pitt also had a few words to say.
"I wouldn't say [marriage is] just a title. There's more to it than that."
Pitt is currently shooting near Malta for a movie called "By The Sea." The movie is being directed by his wife Angelina Jolie and also stars her in the female lead. The movie is set in France and is about a couple who is drifting apart. The two reportedly decide to travel the country together and explore new things about their relationship.
Pitt plays the role of Roland an American writer where as Jolie plays the role of Vanessa, a former bar dancer. The first stills of the movie have been released and it shows the duo sharing smouldering chemistry on screen. In one of the shots, Jolie and Pitt are shown sitting on the bed. They both are sitting apart and seem to be contemplating where as in other still Pitt is sharing a coffee with an old fellow in a hotel.
Jolie told Entertainment Weekly that she chose to set the film in the 1970's so that the focus remains on the couple's story and not on the contemporary setting. "By The Sea" is set to release next year.
