Hollywood star Brad Pitt is said to be interested in making a film on the BP Gulf Coast oil spill.

Pitt, who has previously helped in rebuilding Louisiana after Katrina, is eyeing the project and plans to do it with his celebrity friend George Clooney, NYDN reports.

He has put in a lot of effort in the Big Easy with his Make It Right Initiative, which has been assisting communities as they get up after the first catastrophe. The current situation in the Gulf Coast is a big plight and is affecting everyone, thus making a film about it would be interesting.

Some people suggest that it would be better if all the proceeds of the movie will go to the people who are affected by the oil spill. With Pitt's giving nature, there is a big possibility that this would happen.

Meanwhile, Pitt's representative has yet to confirm if these rumours are true.
