Brad Pitt is Bruno Mars’ newest tambourine man. The A-list star invaded the Grammy-winning singer’s stage at the Make It Right Gala to help Bruno belt out a cover of James Brown’s “Get Up I Feel Like Being a Sex Machine.”

On May 17, Bruno welcomed Angelina Jolie’s fiancé to the charity gala’s stage in New Orleans, introducing him to the crowd with, “Make some noise for Brad Pitt!”

Brad was then handed a tambourine to join Bruno’s band, which he played enthusiastically, even gamely learning new dance steps with another member of the band.

Bruno appeared to be delighted with his new band member. He kept shouting “Benjamin Button” to the audience, referring to Brad’s famous role as the titular character in “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.”

“I really like Benjamin Button,” he told Brad before calling him a “sexy motherf*****.”

The actor hosted the event for his Make It Right foundation on Saturday, with Bruno, Kings of Leon, Jim Gaffigan and host Chris Rock.

Make It Right foundation aims to build eco-friendly, affordable houses for communities in need.

Brad was in New Orleans specifically for that cause. Recently, he was spotted throwing a beer to Matthew McConaughey across their hotel balconies.

Matthew was hanging out with his family on the balcony of their hotel room when they noticed Brad on another balcony across the street.

The two exchanged a few chats before Brad tossed a beer to Matthew, much to the delight of the onlookers.

Matthew was apparently in the same city with New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees to film a segment for the reality show “The Amazing Race.”

Bruno, on the other hand, received some lectures from Lionel Richie. The music legend told People magazine that he recently sat down with Bruno in Germany to lecture him about committing errors.

“The student is doing well,” Lionel said. “He’s going to make his mistakes. But it’s all right. The fact is, he’s talented as hell.”
