Brad Pitt: Retire at 50, Open to More Kids with Jolie
In an interview with "Australia's 60 Minutes," Brad Pitt reveals his plans about his career and family.
The "Moneyball" star admitted that he would like to retire from show business at age 50. Since he is now 47, does that mean he will finally settle down and focus more on family life in three years?
"Three years. I am really enjoying the producing side and development of stories and putting those pieces together ... getting stories to the plate that might have had a tougher times otherwise," Pitt said.
While discussing his family, the actor becomes more definitive about conceiving or adopting more kids with Angellina Jolie to join their family.
"You know, I don't know that we're finished," he said. "I don't know yet. I don't know."
"Those late nights are so fun when one of them's up or those mornings when they get up and make pancakes or something. That's what it's about," Pitt added.
When asked about if he's been happy these days despite his busy schedules and juggling time for six children, he gave an unusual answer.
"I think happiness is overrated, truthfully. I do," Pitt said. "I think sometimes you're happy, sometimes you're not. There's too much pressure to be happy. I don't know. I don't really give a sh-t. I know I will be at times and I know I won't be at times. Satisfied, at peace, those would be more goals for myself."
