Brad Pitt is happy to be back Down Under with his lovely wife Angelina Jolie and their six children.

The "12 Years a Slave" actor was spotted at the Gold Coast Airport yesterday as he arrived from Los Angeles and is about to board a helicopter that will bring him to his awaiting family.

Brad was spotted by various entertainment followers wearing an all-black ensemble and aviator shades, while sporting the haircut that has made some buzz the past few days.

Brad and Angelina spent some time apart as the former attended the Screen Actors' Guild awards and the Producers' Guild Awards over the weekend. Angelina, on the other hand, remained in Australia for the filming of 'Unbroken' where she is a director.

Speaking of Brad's Haircut, he debuted his new look during the Producers' Guild Awards, and observers could not help but notice. He told the press that the new haircut was 'for a part' and indeed, he had his military-style hair for the movie that he has been filming in the UK opposite Shia LaBeouf.

Meanwhile, he has nothing but praises for his co-star Lupita Nyong'o who won the Best Supporting Actress award from the Screen Actors' Guild for her role in "12 Years a Slave."

"She's very special," Pitt told E! Online. "Very special young lady. We're going to see great things from her."

Brad also let his six children watch the movie he co-produced, despite the heavy theme surrounding the story of a born-free black man who was sold into slavery in the 1840s.

"Yes, it's a heavy subject matter but there's a universal story of a man just trying to keep his will, maintain his dignity and bring it home to his family," Pitt told Us Magazine. "To me that's beautifully inspirational amidst the historical aspect of it all. It's beautifully told."
