Brad Pitt shows off iconic looks on V magazine’s cover, talks director Angelina Jolie
Hollywood actor Brad Pitt, 51, is the latest star to grace the cover of V magazine’s November issue.
The fashion magazine shared his photos on Instagram. The black-white cover photo features Pitt wearing a round neck, long sleeves white t-shirt and rugged jeans. He is also wearing a thick, black belt.
“Brad Pitt covers V98, out on November 12. __ Pre-order your copy now at vmagazine.com and stay tuned for Cover 2!” the magazine captioned the photo.
Pitt was photographed by famous duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, and for the photoshoot, David Vandewal styled him.
The “By the Sea” star also posed for another cover of the magazine. In the photo uploaded on Instagram, the actor is seen shirtless. He is wearing sunglasses, and his wedding ring is the highlight of this photo.
In the accompanying interview, the actor talked about his new film “By the Sea” directed by his wife Angelina Jolie. He and his 40-year-old wife are playing estranged couple in the film.
“It's surprising how much I enjoy the direction of my wife. She's decisive, incredibly intuitive, and might I say sexy at her post. I trust her with my life,” Pitt was quoted as saying to the magazine by Entertainment Tonight.
The couple has previously worked together in the 2005 film “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.” They played a married couple in that film as well. Pitt said that their new film is different from their first film together.
“‘By the Sea’ deals with that period when the honeymoon is well over and the couple is faced with the banality of every day and the pains of the unplanned. There are no Hallmark cards that define the next chapter, or the value of a history together,” he said.
Pitt also said that he has a stable and good relationship with Jolie. He and his wife enjoy being in love with each other and their kids, according to him. Pitt and Jolie officially tied the knot in August 2014, and they are parents to six children.
“By The Sea” premieres on Nov. 13 in the U.S. and Nov. 26 in Australia.
