Though the official list of Hollywood’s powerful stars who will attend next month’s Cannes Festival will be announced Thursday, People magazine has found out that the A-list celebrity couple, “Brangelina” will be among the big stars to grace the festival.
CNN International noted that Pitt will surely stay in South of France festival to support her partner, actress Angelina Jolie whose voice will be featured in "Kung Fu Panda 2”. The film also features voices of actors Dustin Hoffman and Jack Black.
Other celebrity couple reportedly joining Brangelina at the festival are actress Scarlett Johansson and rumored boyfriend, “Milk” actor Sean Penn.
This is the second time Johansson and Penn will be seen together in a formal gathering as a couple. They couple debuted their romance in Reese Witherspoon-Jim Toth wedding earlier this month. Penn appears in the film, “Tree of Life” with Brad Pitt.
Other stars expected to see along the Croisette from May 11 to 22 include Jack Black and celebrity couple Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem. Also attending is France First Lady, Carla Bruni who will be making her acting debut in a Woody Allen movie that featured in the festival.
Hollywood’s 2011 highest paid actor, Johnny Depp is also attending the festival for the world premiere of "Pirates of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides".
Analysts say that this year’s festival in South Frances is foreseen to be more exciting and lively than how it went last spring.
