We are no stranger to virginity auctions. However, here comes a virginity auction for the third time for the same woman. Brazilian Playboy model Catarina Migliorini, aka Catherine Migliorini, attempted selling her virginity twice before. On both the occasions, she was on her own. Nevertheless, this time she wants to take help from a reality show which will help her auction her V card.

Australian filmmaker Jason Sisely worked with a project called "Virgins Wanted" in 2009. It was he who organised Ms Migliorini's virginity auction in 2012. Ms Migliorini eventually was able to sell her virginity to 53-year-old Japanese man Natsu in October 2012 for £483,000 which was around $772,000 at that time.

Ms Migliorini later claimed that things did not go how she thought they would. Instead of Mr Natsu, a 23-year-old wanted to have sex with her. Apparently, she refused to have sex with him as that was not what the deal was supposed to be. Still "untouched", she set up VirginsWanted2.com - a Web site that would help her sell her virginity for the second time. Even after receiving a $440,000 bid, she decided to cancel the second auction as well as she was apparently proposed to by an Arabian millionaire for marriage.

No matter how pre-historic it may sound, women are still objectified even though we pride ourselves to have "progressed" hugely in terms of technological advancements. Virginity is still considered precious is several countries in the world. For strange reasons, a man seems to get excessively more excited when he is told that the woman he is going to have sex with is a virgin. Nothing feels better than "using the unused", it seems.

Anyway, Ms Migliorini plans to start a reality TV show titled There's Something About Catherine where she will try to sell her virginity for the third time. Presently, no television channel in Brazil is interested in the show.
