Goodman Fielder Ltd (ASX:GFF), Australasia's largest food manufacturer, says its facilities have avoided damage from the floods in Queensland and New South Wales.

But the company has also advised its Burleigh Heads, on the Gold Coast, Carina, Murarrie, Hemmant and Carole Park, had to stop operations for up to two days to ensure safety of staff. These closures have temporarily impacted the supply of the full product range in a number of areas.

"All Goodman Fielder facilities impacted by the floods will be returning to full operations soon," the company said.

"However in order to get as much product to as many customers and consumers as possible, Goodman Fielder will be producing a limited range for a short period of time and its ability to get product to some customers may remain curtailed whilst road closures and flooding still remains."

The company expects minimal financial impact from the temporary disruption.
