Actor Aaron Paul has been linked to "Star Wars" rumours and speculations. According to reports, the "Breaking Bad" actor might play one of the lead roles in a spin-off film about the "Star Wars'" iconic character Han Solo.
Making Star Wars broke the news on Dec. 25 and revealed possible details for the "first 'Star Wars' spin-off." According to the site, a movie revolving around the story of Han Solo is being planned after "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" under the code name "Luminac Industrial Goods."
The site's editor-in-chief, Jason Ward, reported that "the word around current production at the Pinewood is that Aaron Paul is looking to be attached to the first 'Star Wars' spin-off film in some fashion." However, there is reportedly no word on whether the actor will be playing Han Solo or not. It is said that the filming will eventually overlap with the eighth instalment of the "Star Wars" franchise.
The website notes that the news comes from the "sources that have panned out for 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens.'" The information has reportedly been revealed from a friend that gave legit information including set photos for the "Episode VII." Aaron Paul is best known for his role of Jesse Pinkman in AMC series "Breaking Bad."
However, fans must note that none of the associated people have confirmed the news. Thus, in the absence of official comments the report remains unconfirmed and must be considered a rumour.
Meanwhile, We Got This Covered reports that the next "Star Wars" movie will be directed by "Godzilla" director Gareth Edwards and written by Gary Whitta. The untitled film apparently already has a release date. According to the report, the movie is slated to come out on Dec. 16, 2016.
In the original "Star Wars" movies, Han Solo has been played by actor Harrison Ford.
