‘Breaking Bad’ Creator Vince Gilligan’s Emmy Win Would Be Aaron Paul’s Highlight of Life
Aaron Paul is once again on the Emmy nominee list this year. But the "Breaking Bad" star's ardent wish is to see Vince Gilligan take home his first ever Emmy statuette for the best drama series win for of course the greatest show, "Breaking Bad."
Unfortunately, Gilligan has never won the statuette in his long-run career. Surprising!
"He's the kindest human being with such a messed-up mind. To look at him just struggling to keep his emotions in would be truly one of the highlights of my life. I hope we're all able to experience that." Paul said.
34-year-old Paul is the youngest actor to win Emmy, not once but twice in his career. "I'm honestly still on a cloud from being nominated the first year," Paul recalls of his first nomination in 2009 that very morning he was at Bryan Cranston's home for publicity calls. He won the best supporting drama actor award in 2009 and bagged one again in 2012.
Paul also talked about how get a job you love in the entertainment business is so tough. Moreover, "Breaking Bad" is one of the best shows he has done in his career and we all certainly love Jesse Pinkman - Yo.
"The goal in this business is to get a job. And then you want to do a job that you're proud of. And that's very hard. And then on top of that, do a job that other people like. "Breaking Bad" has just taken it to such a different level," he said, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
"For me it's all downhill from here -- and it's not a bad thing. I know how fortunate I am to be a part of "Breaking Bad." I know it's a once-in-a-lifetime thing. I'm just happy it happened."
We wish Gilligan and Paul, all the best for Emmy 2013.
