Heisenberg is back and he is leading the globe. The 71st Golden Globe Awards TV nominees are out today and AMC's critically acclaimed series "Breaking Bad" is leading the nominations with 3 nods.

Breaking Bad is going head to head with "Downtown Abbey," "The Good Wife," "House of Cards and "Masters of Sex" in the Best Drama Category. The meth-making crime drama television series is produced by Vince Gilligan and it's about the two-year-long story of a chemistry teacher turned drug kingpin Walter White.

Labeled as a contemporary western by its creator, "Breaking Bad" has been breaking records for getting 10 Primetime Emmy Awards with one for Outstanding Drama Series. The series was named No. 13 in a list of the 101 Best-Written TV Series of All Time by the Writers Guild of America.

The ensemble cast of the series did not disappoint when Walter White himself played by the talented Bryan Cranston was nominated for Best Actor in the Drama Series. He is up against James Spader of "The Blacklist," Kevin Spacey of the "House of Cards," Michael Sheen in the "Masters of Sex and Live Schreiber in "Ray Donovan."

White's sidekick Jesse Pinkman played by Aaron Paul is also nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series and is up against "The Good Wife" Josh Charles, Robe Lowe in "Behind the Candelabra", Corey Stoll in "House of Cards" and Jon Voight in "Ray Donovan."
