'Breaking Bad' Prequel Update: 'Better Call Saul' First Sneak Peek, First Look Of Saul Goodman's Brother [VIDEO]
AMC recently released the first sneak peek of "Better Call Saul." The clip features Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) and Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks). The prequel to AMC's cult series is going to tell the story of how and why a small time lawyer Jimmy McGill transformed into a criminal attorney working for dreaded criminals. In the sneak peek, Goodman is seen arguing with Erhmantraut over parking. At the end of the clip, Mike can be seen showing his brawn power and pinning Goodman down.
The new season is set to feature Goodman's family. As previously reported, Michael McKean has been cast as Goodman's brother Chuck McGill. The Hollywood Reporter (THR) has published Chuck's first look. He is seen sitting in his library and medical books can be seen on the table. THR has tried to decode the clues present in the photo to sketch the character, as details about Chuck's character have not yet been released. According to the report, Chuck can be a doctor or a nurse, as the books "Blood Transfusion Therapy: A Physicians Guide" and "Conceptual Foundations: The Bridge to Professional Nursing Practice" can be seen in the photo. Also, there is Northwestern University mug, which is indicating that Chuck may have studied at the prestigious University.
According to THR, it is likely that Chuck is the reason why Jimmy became Saul Goodman, as in the photo, Goodman is sporting a concerned look. Charlie Collier, president at AMC, said in a statement, "Known to Breaking Bad fans as Saul Goodman, viewers will soon discover Saul wasn't always Albuquerque's top criminal (criminal) lawyer."
Meanwhile, E! Online has published Goodman and Erhmantraut's photo [Check the Photo Here]. The two good friends of "Breaking Bad" are not giving each friendly looks. As previously reported, Mike will be see working with Goodman and also against him.
The "Breaking Bad" prequel is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, Feb. 08. It is a two-night series premiere. AMC has already ordered 13 episodes of Season 2. "Better Call Saul" Season 1 consists of 10 episodes.
