"Breaking Dawn" actress Ashley Greene once dreamed to be a supermodel. But she was not tall enough and was not thin enough to be a hot shot model.

Ashley Greene shared this frustration on the August 2012 issue of Nylon magazine. The beautiful actress dreamed to be a high fashion model. She knew her height and vital statistics will not allow her to be one.

"I knew I was never going to be a supermodel. I mean, I'm 5'5." It's not going to happen unless you're Kate Moss, which I'm not. And until you hit a certain level in the modeling world, it's really rough: You're never tall enough, you're never thin enough, there's always another girl. It just wasn't for me anymore," the actress said in the interview.

In order to attain her goal, Ashley visits the gym five days a week doing cardio, yoga, martial arts, circuit training and Pilates. During the past few months, Ashley has lost a noticeable amount of weight, bolstering her bankability as a leading lady and a fashion plate.

It seems that Ashley was having the last laugh when she was chosen to be the face of lucrative brands like DKNY and Mark Cosmetics. Moreover, she became the cover of various fashion magazines.

Ashley's career was catapulted when she joined the Cullen Coven in the "Twilight" series as the intuitive vampire Alice.

After joining the cast of the successful vampire series, the IMDb STARmeter of Ashley reached its highest spot even though she is just playing one of the minor roles in the series. Her recent success is not an accident but is a product of hard work.

Despite the success that she and the rest of the Twilight cast enjoy at the moment, her feet remained firmly on the ground. The actress always reminded herself that the course of her career will not always be like that and she anticipates that she may not be able to book another massive project like the "Twilight" series.

However, the actress is ready to move on and is looking forward to life after "Twilight," and would love to star in some action films.

"I'm excited to move on to the next thing and take advantage of all the opportunities we've been given," she says. "But at the same time, it's kind of weird- we've been doing this for four years," Ashley said with a smile.

The last Twilight film, "Breaking Dawn Part 2" will hit the theaters on November 16.
