It's being billed as the wedding of the century and no it's not the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, we're talking about the upcoming nuptials of Bella Swan and her vampire paramour Edward Cullen. The release of the "Breaking Dawn" trailer has set Twihard fans into a frenzy worthy of the Royal Wedding hype. Who is designing Bella's dress? Who's going to be on the guest list and who's going to be crashing the wedding?

Summit Entertainment has kindly confirmed one of the pressing questions about the Twilight wedding: the wedding dress is being designed by Carolina Herrera.

In a statement to Us Weekly the acclaimed designer has this to say about her Twilight gig: "It is always a great pleasure to design any wedding gown, but this one was particularly special."

"Kristen is a stunning girl and her character, Bella, will make a beautiful bride," Herrara added.

The trailer doesn't give fans a look at the dress but Stephanie Meyer describes it as a 1920's antique ensemble. Herrera's chic, sophisticated style will fit in with this ideal.

"I definitely think it could match the Victorian feel in the book," said Amy Eisinger, Associate Editor of WeddingChannel.com said in a report in MTV.com "The one phrase that I've always sort of heard about Carolina is that her designs are a bit like ladies who lunch and I don't mean that in a derogatory sense. I mean that in the sense that she's very classic. It's very sophisticated. It's generally a little bit more conservative. You're never going to see Carolina do a wedding dress that has a super-plunging neckline or something like that."

Herrera wasn't the only designer being considered for the movie. Christian Siriano, Max Azria, Brian Reyes and Erin Fetherston all submitted design concepts for the wedding gown. Zac Posen had even been rumored to be the official designer until Summit announced Herrera as the wedding dress designer.

Fans can expect Bella's gown to have a floral theme based on Carolina's recent collection. Herrara's Bridal Fashion Week collection showcased some embroidered flowers onto the dress. Regardless of the final outcome, fans can't wait to see the rest of the wedding in the "Breaking Dawn" movie.
