The test series that were conducted last month against India has rediscovered the skills of the acting Australian captain, Ricky Pointing. Now he must get up and make a good fight to get rid of being rested as what happened to wicket-keeper Brad Haddin.

Ponting said he will be displaying the same performance from what he had shown at the beginning of the series. He'll be bringing in similar moves towards the end of the game.

Pointing managed to astound the crowd as he scored a drought-breaking record and a series-ending double century. He got an average of a hundred in all four tests making smooth dismissals for his single figure scores.

Ricky Pointing averaged a score between 16 and 33 in the previous seven-Test series. He said he had been practicing for a few months to prepare for the series, and all his effort were well paid off.

In the last few games, Ricky failed to play well in a one-day format. He's making sure that he'll do it this time and continue the good play up to the final series.

Haddin, who is still in a resting mode, will be playing a Sheffield Shield match on NSW's side against Western Australia, which will start today in Perth.

Selectors have refused to explain Haddin's condition upon revising the squad for the game happening tonight and on Sunday, which has confused the mass this week.

The only reason brought up when Matthew Wade was called to play is that Haddin was resting. However, people started to doubt as it has become an extremely long rest.

Pointing hoped that Haddin could get rid of the issues and that he could focus on putting up a good play in the Sheffield Shield game.
