Brian McFaddedn defended himself, saying that he was just being "honest" after he was criticized for his sarcastic attitude on Australia's Got Talent.

In an interview with the Confidential, McFadden said, "We could all just sit there and say it's all brilliant but what really would be the point of that?"

"I don't think it's harsh. It's just being honest."

McFadden, who was a former member of the boy band Westlife, is currently getting ready for the release of his newest single from his album Wall of Soundz. He recently caused a stir for telling comedian Anne Ferguson-Howe to "f ... off back to England".

"There's a lot of editing and what you see at home you might think it's harsh but if you saw the full conversation you would see why we say it," he said.
