Brierty reveals fresh $25 million deals in WA
Brierty Limited said on Friday that it has contracted four new deals reaching $25 million to deliver civil construction services in the northwest part of Western Australia.
The company said that Landcorp tapped them for three contracts to fast-track industrial land in the Pilbara and meet the needs of business operations servicing the mining and oil and gas sectors.
The Perth-based company said that the Pilbara contract would cover the Karratha's Gap Ridge Village Industrial Estate, the Newman Light Industrial Area and Port Hedland's Light Industrial Area.
Brierty said that it has also entered an agreement with LWP Property Group for the initial stage of Trinity Alkimos, which is a residential development projects in Perth's costal corridor.
Company managing director Stuart Crofts said that the new deals are in line with Brierty's regional expansion plans for the state's northwest region following WA's economic response to the resources sector recovery.
Mr Crofts said that the "demand for residential and industrial land and infrastructure required to support the economy will continue to grow."
He added that the company's management team is planning to develop the land development business in identified industries while maintaining at the sae time business diversity by strengthening its other business divisions.
As of 1312 AEST, Brierty shares were trading at 27 cents, gaining one cent or 3.85 percent.
