Brisbane's SC Hears Singh Family's "Dirty Laundry" That May Have Lead to The Death of The Three Singh Siblings (Video)
Vijay Singh, father of the Singh siblings who were murdered at their home in north of Brisbane, denied threesome claims, a mistress allegation, and accusations of skeletons found in the closet.
Supreme Court prosecutor Michael Byrne informed adjudicators of the likely discussion of Singh family's "dirty laundry" before the hearing started yesterday.
Barrister Sam Di Carlo interrogated Vijay Singh regarding 41-year-old Max Sica, who has not appealed guilty of killing 24-year-old Neelma Singh, 18-year-old Kunal Singh, and 12-year-old Sidhi Singh, inside their own home at Bridgeman Downs on April 21, 2003.
Mr. Singh was questioned regarding his alleged mistress Karun in Fiji while he was being alienated from his family following an event that happened on Nov. 2002. Mr. Di Carlo specifically questioned about the length of their relationship.
Mr. Singh confirmed their relationship, but denied his love for the woman. It was in Jan. 2003 when their relationship ended due to Karun's possessive attitude. He believed Karun has paid people to inform his wife about their relationship.
The court heard Mr. Singh describing the status of his relationship with his wife Shirley. According to him, they both had sexual intercourse with strangers.
In March 2003, his wife told him that she's afraid of Sica, who was then trying to contact her to get back into having a relationship with her. Mr. Di Carlo questioned Mr. Singh regarding Neelma, who was contantly lying to him about her and Sica. Mr Singh shortly answered the question with "I suppose so."
Earlier in the trial, the jury listened to a recorded conversation prepared by Mr. Singh showing him and Sica calling the police during a fight that happened in Nov. 2002.
The court hearing was continued today.
