Brit Naturists Oppose Revenge Porn Bill
Briton nudists are against the Revenge Porn Bill in the United Kingdom because the proposed law could be discriminatory against naturists. Under the bill, it would be considered a criminal offence to post intimate photos or videos as a way of getting back at one's former partner.
However, naturists complained to British Justice Secretary Chris Grayling that the bill has no distinction between porn and nudity, which naturists advocate. The bill considers images of exposed genitals, when posted online or published, as an offence that brings with it maximum prison term of two years.
Nudists fear that innocent full-frontal naturists' photography which includes images of family and friends au naturel on a declared clothing-optional beaches, sun clubs or private garden as revenge porn.

"Most naturists would be horrified by such a thought ... The majority of the country's two million nudists are mature, professional types who would prefer philately to pornography," The Telegraphed quoted naturist writer Rayner Otter.
He lamented that the bill lumps them in the same category as porn stars. He agreed that while no image, whether with or without clothes, should be posted on the Web sans the subject's permission, "there is a world of difference between a shot of a partner on an official nudist beach in Spain and one of them engaged in a threesome in a cheap hotel room in Northampton."
Otter pointed out that most of revenge porn photos are posted on social media sites such as Facebook or Twitter to shame their ex-partners after a bad break up.
Because of the global nature of revenge porn, victims could be forced to pay thousands of dollars to a foreign porn revenge site to have their embarrassing nude photos removed.
The charity Victim Support backs the Criminal Justice and Courts Bill, said Adam Pemberton, assistant chief executive of the group, saying, "This type of behavior can be extremely distressing for its victims, causing them significant psychological harm.'
Pemberton added, quoted by BBC, "We are pleased that people who commit these gross violations of privacy will now face prosecution, and victims of revenge porn know they have the full backing of the law."
