Britney became a mommy when she was still in her 20s and told the magazine she did not have to work too hard to get back into shape when her first son Jayden was born. The body's metabolism is still high when a person is young and will not have to do a lot of hard work to maintain their body shape at a young age. But the moment one turns 30 years old, metabolic activity slows down a bit and one has to put in a lot of effort to maintain the fitness level he/she is used to in their younger age. Britney said she noticed her hips became wider after the birth of her babies so she started exercising daily.
"After I had Jayden, it was real easy for me to get back in shape but five years later, I started noticing changes in my body," said the singer to Women's Health magazine, according to E Online. "My hips are a little bit wider because I've had kids. So it was crucial for me to be continuous with my exercise."
For Britney, it is important to indulge in some or other kind of daily exercise for both physical and mental health. The pop star is, in fact, fond of exercising. "I don't mind working out. Trainers keep you motivated, but I didn't have a problem being motivated," said Britney.
Apart from exercising, it is also important to follow a healthy diet to stay fit. Britney revealed to the magazine that she is fond of Nut-Thins, a light and healthy snack. But the "Work B-tch" singer sometimes likes to indulge in "Sushi and sweet tea."
