Britney Spears "is Not Capable of Holding a Conversation," Says Talk Show Host
Adrienne Bailon, the former "Cheetah Girl" snubbed Britney Spears saying the singer "is not capable of holding a conversation" and her most famous meltdown was nothing but her own "karma."
What's a talk show without controversy? And "The Real" has many. During a chat about childstars and their public meltdowns on the talkshow, Bailon and her co-hosts were engaged in a conversation about troubled child stars and called Britney "the pop princess who had the ultimate meltdown."
"The ultimate meltdown was Britney Spears," Bailon said of the pop star adding she "needs to call Miley Cyrus's stylist ASAP."
She also added: "I've worked with her on X Factor and I'm not going to lie to you guys. She can't hold a conversation. "They had someone that feeds her what she's supposed to say. She can't hold a conversation!"
Bailon worked as a backstage host on the reality TV show last year, and she had to interview the judges, including Demi Lovato and Spears.
"Miss Britney Spears took a dude that was already with a girl that had babies," said Bailon referring to years-old drama with Kevin Federline. "And sometimes when you do that kind of stuff and take a dude, that's called karma."
"The Real" also features hosts Jeannie Mai, Loni Love, Tamar Braxton and Tamera Mowry-Housley,. Braxton joined the bandwagon by saying "What I hear behind the scenes she's trying to get it together."
To which Mowry-Housley added, "And we have to respect that."
The infamous meltdown occurred on January 4, 2008 - with Britney entering into Esther's Haircutting Studio in Tarzana, California, and demanding her head be shaved. When owner Esther Tognozzi refused, the singer picked up the shears and said, "Then I'll do it." During that time Britney attacked a paparazzi with an umbrella, locked her in the bathroom with her toddler son before checking into a rehab.
The 31-year-old singer and mother of two recently decided not to be featured in X-Factor's next season as she has her hands full. Britney, who recently recorded a song for Smurfs 2, is currently working on her eight studio album which is set to be released later this year.
