Britney Spears may be the inspiration of most pop singers to day, but it's safe to say that she is also inspired by them as well.

The 32-year-old pop singer talks to USA Today before kicking off her "Britney: Piece of Me" tour in Las Vegas, and she mostly talks about what inspires her at the moment.

For one, she admires Beyonce because 'what she did with her (surprise release) album was genius, really brilliant.'

She also expresses her admiration to Miley Cyrus, whom she shares manager with (Larry Rudolph) and was also present at the concert that night at the Axis Theater. 'She's cool, she's fun to be around. You know, she's got really good energy.'

And Britney does not stop there -- she even went out of the pop scene and praises New Zealand teenage sensation Lorde 'who is really different and cool.'

'This generation is hungry for new sounds,' comments Britney.

The pop singer also admires Bruno Mars and, surprise, ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake.

'Bruno Mars is so different and fresh, and (ex-boyfriend) Justin Timberlake is, too. It's inspiring for me, and it makes people eager to listen to music, which helps everyone.'

Actually, this was not the first time she praised her ex-boyfriend. Last month, she gushes to Ryan Seacrest about JT's single Holy Grail, which he collaborated with Beyonce's husband Jay Z.

'I like that song. I think it's mystical,' says Spears to Seacrest.

Just goes to show that after 12 years since they became an item and even though they are both happy with their separate lives, Britney still has mutual respect for Justin as an artist.

Finally, Britney dedicates one part of the concert, deemed her 'favorite part,' to the King of Pop Michael Jackson.

'(My) favorite part of the show, where it's just me in the spotlight (during Me Against the Music) with a hat on, which is really a tribute to Michael,' says Britney.
