Just hours after a horrific shooting incident across northern England, Lady Gaga appeared on stage in Manchester acting like she was murdered by a demented killer.

Thousands of people who were at the concert looked on in repugnance and disgust as she was attacked by a man dressed in black, after which fake blood gushed down her chest.

It was part of Gaga's routine performance, however, the act at the MEN Arena came at a bad time following the gun rampage of cab driver Derrick Bird across the Cumbria region, killing 12 people and injuring 11 others before taking his own life.

"It was extremely tasteless to see her pretend to be attacked in such a gory way - especially in front of young children," one mother said in an interview with The Daily Mail.

Gaga is constantly updating her Twitter but has not mentioned any comment about the issue. Before the concert, the problem was with the security who refused entry to concertgoers wearing coke cans in their hair like she did in the video of "Telephone".

"All is well at MEN ARENA, feel free to wear your coke cans proud in hair. Security has been reprimanded for censoring little monster freedoms," she tweeted.

She has one concert left at Sheffield in Britain before returning the Monster Ball tour in North America.
