There must be a reason why the World Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) current heavyweight champion of the world is rarely seen during the weekly RAW and Smackdown events. It must be a marketing ploy to limit his appearance and put emphasis quality over quantity but recent news makes followers of the WWE believe that his reign at the top will not stay beyond his contract - 2015.

According to MMA Mania, the Beast Incarnate has made a clean bill of health and is considering a return to the stable of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). His manager, Paul Heyman has hinted a few months ago that his ward is eyeing one last run at reclaiming his glory at mixed martial arts and his health is the only thing standing in the way. But with Lesnar receiving the a clean bill of health after surviving the purple plague of doom, it seems that he is on the way back to the Octagon less than six months from now.

Former WWE announcer turned MMA commentator Jim Ross certainly thinks so.

"It looks to me like he's gotten back on track. He looks phenomenal strength-wise. He's just scary looking. He's more scary looking than he was before he left [WWE the first time]. I could identify with that diverticulitis and diverticulosis. It's not something you heal from very quickly. Your body has to make major adjustments. I see no reason he couldn't have the potential to return to the UFC and sell pay-per-views," Ross said per Fox Sports.

The 37-year-old fighter was one UFC;'s top draws before he retired sporting a 5-3 card, the last fight coming from a TKO defeat to Alistair Overeem in December of 2011. He also made news when he was able to capture the UFC heavyweight title in just his fourth fight and has already formed some sort of following and rivalry against other fighters in his weight class such as Cain Velasquez , who dealt his two other losses. His manager and close friend Heyman believes that the Beast Incarnate would have won all those fights if not for his struggles with his ailment - diverticulitis.

The UFC is believed to be open to a Lesnar return given that the heavyweight fighter was one of its best draws and his exposure at WWE also lifts his popularity even higher. Lesnar is also considering retirement altogether to shift focus to his family and spending more time with his children.
