Bruce Jenner seems to have struck a chord with American singer and actress Cher. The two have reportedly been hooking up and rekindling their friendship since the Olympian split from his wife of 22-years, Kris Jenner. Not many know that Bruce was in a brief relationship with Cher back in 1980's but the couple wrapped up their affair for unknown reasons.

"Cher always regretted the end of their romance. Now that Bruce's marriage to Kris Jenner has hit the skids, and Cher is single once more, she has Bruce firmly in her sights again," a source revealed to National Enquirer (via Inquister) in regards to their budding romance.

Furthermore, reports even suggest that Cher is someone who is fit for Bruce and if they tie the knot, in no time they will become the "it" couple amongst the luminaries.

"Cher is just the kind of woman Bruce needs right now. If they got married once his divorce goes through, Bruce and Cher would steal all the thunder from the Kardashians. It would be perfect revenge for Bruce," the source went on to say (via Indian express)

Bruce Jenner and Kris Jenner headed to splitsville last year in October. The couple announced their separation on national television through "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" Season 9 premiere episode.

"We had been living apart. Bruce was living in Malibu, so I think [we decided] to just come out and say it formally to everybody at the same time," Jenner, 58,explained the reason for separation to US Weekly, adding, "We're best friends. I mean, we talk all the time. Right now we're happier the way that we are right now."

Interestingly, the grapevine has it that Kris is uncomfortable with her ex-husband Bruce's growing closeness to Cher. A source has claimed that though Kris has given up on her marriage with Bruce she still considers Cher as a threat, HNGN reported.

Meanwhile, Kris Jenner has also been spotted hanging out with mysterious man at a Japanese restaurant, Sugarfish, in Calabasas, reported the Web site.
