American musician and singer-songwriter Bruce Springsteen's new "High Hopes" album accidentally got leaked on Amazon's mobile application on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, before its scheduled release date in the U.S. on Jan. 14, 2014 and in Australia on Jan. 17, 2014. Amazon tried to fix it by taking out the tracks as soon as they could. Unfortunately, it wasn't soon enough because some users already downloaded it. Due to this error, several versions of Springsteen's "High Hopes" album can now be downloaded internationally.

However, it's not all bad for Springsteen because his fans that were able to listen to his new songs reacted positively to the "High Hopes" album. It is the eighteenth studio album of Springsteen and it features a mix of his original songs and some covers of popular songs, including "Just Like Fire Would," which was originally sung by The Saints and released in 1986 and "Dream Baby Dream" from the band Suicide which released the single in 1979.

Springsteen's version of "Just Like Fire Would" was recorded in Sydney, Australia in March 2013. He performed this song with the E Street Band during the opening show of their 2013 "Wrecking Ball" Tour in Australia.

Below is the complete list of tracks included in Springsteen's "High Hopes" album:

Springsteen wrote almost all of the songs in the "High Hopes" album except for the cover songs.

Of course, you can't please everyone and it's the same way for Springsteen whose critics were not pleased with some of his songs, particularly "The Ghost of Tom Joad." According to The Sydney Morning Herald, London's Telegraph issued a scathing review of the said song which is a duet with Tom Morello.

"(It is) succumbing to a showboating, effects laden Morello solo which sounds ludicrous out of the live context," notes the London Telegraph in a report from The Sydney Morning Herald.

Thankfully, it praised his other song "Down In The Hole," describing it as "ghostly, folky ambience."

Because Bruce Springsteen's new 'High Hopes' album was accidentally leaked on Amazon's mobile Web site, not all is lost for Springsteen and Amazon's relationship. According to Wikipedia, Amazon will release an exclusive limited edition CD/DVD version of Springsteen's "High Hopes" album. It will include a live DVD of a London performance of the entire "Born in the U.S.A." album, which Springsteen and his band performed at the "Wrecking Ball" Tour in England.
