‘Buffy’ Star Nicholas Brendon Arrested After Hotel Disturbance
“Buffy the Vampire Slayer” star Nicholas Brendon was arrested in Idaho, U.S. on Friday night after a drunken night at a hotel. He was charged with two misdemeanour counts of malicious injury to property and resisting or obstructing officers.
The 43-year-old actor was in the area to attend Tree City Comic Con when police were called to a report of disturbance involving Brendon and hotel staffers around 9:30 pm. According to the statement released by the Boise Police Department, the actor showed signs of intoxication and repeatedly refused police commands to stay seated while they tried to talk with witnesses.
When Brendon continued to walk away, the officers took him into custody for resisting and obstructing. He was released on bond a few hours later, and was able to attend an event on Saturday evening. Hotel staffers claimed that he broke a decorative dish. They wish to press charges.
On Sunday, a message on his Twitter account informed his followers that he is doing well. It was signed “K,” which perhaps meant Kelly Donovan, his twin brother.
Nick is doing well. He sends thanks and appreciates all of you for your love, support and positive vibes. - K

His rep also told TMZ that he would like to apologise to the police and the hotel staff for the incident.
“It would be extremely helpful if we could all put this misunderstanding behind us and focus on more positive things,” the rep said.
This isn’t his first brush with the law. In March 2010, he was arrested by the Los Angeles police after they got a call about an intoxicated individual. He was later charged with four misdemeanours, including resisting arrest, battery against a police officer and vandalism. He pleaded no contest to the charges, and received one-year suspended jail sentence and 36-month probation.
Brendon, who famously played one of Buffy’s sidekick and best friend Xander in the Joss Whedon series, married Moonda Tee in Las Vegas on Oct 5, 2014, a few days prior to his recent arrest.
