Bus Stop Dancing Queen Invited to Star In Stage Show After Becoming Viral Online [VIDEO]
If there's a most recent YouTube artist sensation discovery, then it's got to be Ellie Cole, the bus stop dancing queen.
Several months ago, a video of a woman from Eastleigh, England was captured while she was grooving some moves as she waited in a bus stop while listening to some music. The clip appeared just cute and funny at first but eventually it turned out so viral and trending that she was given an opportunity to perform for a stage show.
Ms Cole said to Metro News that she had experience with performance arts studies but chose to drop her classes due to lack of sufficient funds. When she made her debut up stage last week, the bus stop dancing queen found the entire chance as "flattering and humbling."
She became part of the chorus for a play entitled "AH Men" made by The Point Theatre Company.
Eastleigh's Got Talent
The clip of 35-year-old secretary was entitled Eastleigh's Got Talent and was even accompanied with the famous song of Abba 'Dancing Queen.' The overnight hit shows Ms Cole doing the grooves of toe tapping, hip wiggling and of course, finger wagging.
The three-minute clip only ended when the UK double-decker bus finally arrived and Ms Cole got in. Her video eventually was spotted by the writer of the AH Men play by chance, 3ba.com reports.
The video routine that went viral has been watched by almost 150,000 people including the mentioned play writer along with Lynne Paris, the AH Men director. The bus stop dancing queen revealed that the music she was dancing to in the video was Knock Down by Alesha Dixon, Metro reports.
