Forty one properties were destroyed in Perth Hills and 19 other damaged on Sunday.

The properties were all concentrated in the Roleystone area while damages from a second bushfire in the Red Hill area have yet to be confirmed by experts.

The bushfire emergency warning are still applicable for residens of south-west Roleystone and south-east Kelmscott in Armadale city, in addition to Baskerville, Millendon, Herne Hill and Red Hill in Swan city.

"We're still calling both fires uncontrolled and we won't be able to let people back into the areas due to safety reasons," Fire and Emergency Services Authority (FESA) Chief Operations Officer Craig Hynes said in a statement. "We are very concerned about the safety of the firegrounds and we are doing our best to make sure that there are no injuries. Life is our priority.

"At the Red Hill incident there are some partial releases at the fireground to let some people back in," he said. "We've still not reported any losses at that fire and the pleasing thing is that there has been no serious injuries or fatalities."
