The C-City Brothers From Crusaders Tops iTunes With ‘Never Walk Away’
The boys from New Zealand’s Crusaders now have a career to fall back. The C-City Brothers – composed of red-and-black players Andy Ellis, Israel Dagg, Robbie Fuean, Telusa Veainu, and Willie Heinz – have topped three iTunes charts in the country just a day after releasing their debut single “Never Walk Away.”
The group released their debut single on Monday to a commercial success. The song has over 73,000 views on YouTube, and it is currently number one on the New Zealand artist chart and official iTunes dance chart.
New Zealand’s Got Talent judge and OpShop star Jason Kerrison helped Ellis wrote the chart-topping song.

“We are really stoked at the response,” Ellis has been quoted by the New Zealand Herald as saying. “All of us are thrilled at the enthusiasm of the New Zealand public for this song and also for helping raise money for cystic fibrosis.”
As the 29-year-old rugby player mentioned, all proceeds from the sale of their single are going to Cystic Fibrosis Association NZ.
They already have invitations to perform, but Ellis, the founder, said that they are still considering their options and their future at the moment.
He has one more thing to say to their fans, though.
“We encourage people who have not yet bought the song off iTunes to do so. The more people that buy the song, the more money we can raise for the Cystic Fibrosis Association.”
If schedule permits, the C-City Brothers will go on tour during the summer.
