For other gameplays, the Leaderboards now have a new mechanic wherein the player needs to have at least 25 games played in a game mode before being ranked by Score Per Minute.
The update is not the only thing that has arrived in the game. The Black Market, the in-game store, is finally open, and it features a lot of new items for players to enjoy. Over 100 spanking new things can be bought in the store, and these include three new guns and two melee weapons, GameSpot reported.
A crowbar and a sword are also coming in, adding some new ways for players to fight in “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.” For the more traditional who want to stick with guns, the newbies include the MX Garand and the Marshal 16 shotgun. There’s also the NX Shadow Claw crossbow for a unique shot.
There’s a trailer that shows off some of the features and new items in “Call of Duty Black Ops 3” Black Market. The Black Market feature is only available for the next-gen consoles PS4 and Xbox One and the PC. It’s beneficial for both freemium and premium players, because the items can either be bought with real-world money or be obtained via gameplay.
