After his breakup with Rita Ora over cheating allegations and betrayal, Calvin Harris is now being linked with singer Ellie Goulding, who slammed reports of romance with the DJ by going out on a date with McFly member Dougie Poynter.

After the success of their collaboration on the track "I Need Your Love," which has gained over 175 million views on VEVO's YouTube Channel, Ellie Goulding and DJ Calvin Harris have decided to return to the studio for a new collaboration. Ever since they've teamed up again, people believe that outside from being professionally involved, Goulding and Harris are also seeing each other on the side.

But this is just a rumour according to a report from PerezHilton, claiming Ellie Goulding is not romantically involved with Calvin Harris.

The gossip site reported that Ellie Goulding cleared all rumours that she and Calvin Harris are romantically involved, by going on a night out of town with her rumoured musician boyfriend Dougie Poynter, who is a member of the pop band McFly.

Goulding and Poynter were spotted early this week at the Chiltern Firehouse, London's hotspot and where Lindsay Lohan also frequents (see photo from PerezHilton). The pair was photographed holding hands as they walked inside.

This isn't the only time the pair has been spotted holding hands while out on a date. Even though Ellie Goulding and Dougie Poynter have yet to confirm that they're an item, PerezHilton reported that back in May, the pair was also spotted canoodling as they walked the streets of London. Goulding reportedly also managed to avoid the kiss cam while watching the Brooklyn Nets basketball game in London with Poynter in January. The singer later shared the experience on her Twitter account.

After the game, they were spotted at the launch party for Brooklyn Bowl engaged in a bowling session.

Photos are meant to break or make rumours, as according to inquisitr, it was due to a series of photographs that also started the rumour of Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding being romantically involved.

Inquisitr reported that Ellie Goulding was photographed leaving a car with Calvin Harris casually in the background and that they partied at the Mahiki Nightclub until three in the morning.
