'Cambridge's Best Bums' Contestant Inspired By Kim Kardashian's Paper Magazine Nude Butt Photo
Reality star Kim Kardashian West may have broken the Internet this month by posing nude for Paper Magazine, but it turns out Cambridge University students have been doing it for years. Students from the English University have been running a competition for the past three years entitled "Cambridge's Best Bums" and this year, one of the contestants took inspiration from one of Kim's infamous photos.
The contest is run by the Cambridge student newspaper The Tab. Twelve finalists composed of six male and six female contestants were chosen by the newspaper's editorial staff from a pool of submission. According to the Daily Mail, the contest was previously named "Rear of the Year" but they were forced to change it when another annual competition claimed the name.
Now named "Cambridge's Best Bums," the 12 photos are posted in The Tab with a call for netizens to vote for their favourite finalist. One of the notable entries this year is a man called Kim who takes up Natural Sciences. His entry featured a photo that mimics his namesake Kim Kardashian's Paper Magazine photo. Kim the student donned long black gloves and a pearl necklace much like Kardashian but he didn't turn his head to face the camera.
Only one of the finalists kept her modesty by keeping a pair of knickers on. Vivienne, who is taking up Maths, posed with her panties and a tank top on while holding a scarf on a rooftop. The rooftop scene seems to be popular among the contestants as Katie from Sidney Sussex posed on a rooftop as well but was bolder than Vivienne. She wore only a pair of stockings and exposed her bum and everything to the cool rooftop breeze.
The river is also a popular backdrop for the contestants as Rob from King's, Thomas from Trinity and Lauren from Pembroke all posed by the riverbank in all their naked glory. Marc from Pembroke added a twist to his own riverbank shot by including a confused looking bull in his photo.
The rest of the photos featured the students posing in various areas in the university making use of facades, stairs and other backdrop which they found suitable to accentuate their magnificent behinds. Voting is still open for those who want to contribute to the decision but it remains unclear what is up for grabs for the winner of the competition.
