Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden are said to be engaged. The Golden Globe-nominated actress and “The Voice Kids Australia” judge have reportedly secretly got engaged after just several months of dating.

News Corp Australia reported that Madden proposed to Diaz, 35, in October. He apparently gave Diaz a diamond-encrusted ring, which was spotted on her finger during a recent public outing.

This isn’t the first time the couple have been rumoured to be engaged. In August, Woman’s Day claimed that Diaz, 41, and Madden are set to take their relationship to the next level. They have apparently already been living together, though unofficially, and it was just a matter of time before they call each other husband and wife.

And despite their busy schedules, they have been seen enjoying each other’s company at various events and occasions. They were spotted taking a luxury vacation in July, and were seen attending the 5 Seconds of Summer concert in Los Angeles recently.

There is still no confirmation from Diaz and Madden’s camp. But if the report is true, Diaz’s friend and Madden’s sister-in-law, Nicole Richie, would certainly be happy that her handiwork became successful. Richie, the wife of Madden’s twin brother Joel, admitted that she set the couple up. They started dating in May.

When asked by “Watch What Happens Live” host Andy Cohen if she introduced the two together, she answered, “I’m going to take responsibility for everything.”

“I approve of anything that’s going to make Benji happy,” she added. “I am a devoted sister-in-law. I’m happy for anyone who is happy, and I want everyone to be surrounded with love.”

Madden has been engaged before to Australian model/radio presenter Sophie Monk, while Cameron has dated Matt Dillon, Justin Timberlake and New York Yankees player Alex Rodriguez in the past, but has never married. She told Esquire magazine in 2012 that marriage just “wasn’t the thing I was drawn to.”
